GOOD says it best

Over my fresh cup of organic coffee, I opened my browser this morning to see a wonderfully worded blog on the climate talks in Copenhagen this December. (Click on the title of this blog for the link)

As the weeks close in on the first two weeks of the last month of our year, the momentum is only going to build!

Here in Wisconsin, there will be a stampede of youth in Milwaukee and Green Bay to lobby for climate action! Don't just watch the hill -- join in the action for Youth Climate Lobby Day on Friday, September 25. Right now the first ever climate bill sits on the desks of our US Senators. In order to have a strong negotiating platform at COP15 (aka international climate negotiations), the US needs to pass this bill.

So meet us in Green Bay @ DePere High School to meet with Senator Feingold or in Milwaukee @ Milwaukee Area Technical College to meet with Senator Kohl -- we will be meeting at noon. These two folks need to know that the youth of Wisconsin want the US to take serious actions to address climate change.

You can find the invite on Facebook Events (search Youth Climate Lobby Day) or you can e-mail me at jamie_racine7@hotmail.com for more information.
