the penquins will dance for their ice

THIS Saturday, October 24 is the Global Day for Climate Action, organized by 350.org. There are over 4000 events in over 170 countries -- that is nearly every country in the world! (SIDE FACT: There are 195 countries total, depending on your political source.)

Here in Racine, WI we will be hosting a 350 rally DOWNTOWN in Monument Square from 2-3pm... complete with live music and dancing penguins! Atop the climate change solutions soap box will be Representative Corey Mason, Will Steger Foundation Youth Delegate to Copenhagen (yours truly) and representatives from each of Racine's high schools to tell how they are making headway to sustainable solutions right here in Racine.

This event was put together through the collaboration of high school students from Prairie, Case, Horlick and Walden III. Check out what these students have to say about climate change.

Hope to see you on the square!
